There were delays on Metro services during rush hour after a train was stopped following a medical incident involving a passenger in Newcastle.
A train was held on the Tyne and Wear Metro at West Jesmond Station for around 15 minutes with customers asked to alight the carriage while a passenger received further medical treatment.
Metro operators Nexus confirmed that there was some delays to rush hour services heading into Newcastle city centre as the train was held the at the station until an ambulance arrived.

Emergency crews from North East Ambulance Service arrived at the scene and subsequently took the casualty to hospital.
As it stands, the person's condition is unknown.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed their attendance and said: "We were called to a medical incident on the metro at West Jesmond station at 8.44am this morning.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and transported one patient to the RVI."
A Nexus spokesperson said: “There was a medical emergency on board a Metro train at West Jesmond this morning which required us to hold the train at the station until an ambulance arrived.
“The person who was unwell was then taken to hospital by the North East Ambulance Service.
“The incident did cause some delays to rush hour services heading into Newcastle city centre. The train was held at West Jesmond for around 15 minutes. Customers were asked to vacate the carriage while the person received treatment on board.
“We thank customers for their patience during this incident.”
