Rupert Murdoch on state banquet guest list despite Trump lawsuit

Media titan Rupert Murdoch was among the guests at a lavish state banquet honouring Donald Trump, despite the US president having filed a lawsuit against him.

The legal action, initiated in July, targets The Wall Street Journal – a Murdoch-owned publication – over a report detailing Mr Trump’s alleged connections to financier Jeffrey Epstein.
