A star from the ongoing RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season is hosting a Spice Girls event in Liverpool.
Just May, a 32-year-old from Essex, is best known for appearing on our screens on the award-winning BBC Three series. However, this weekend, fans will be able to see her in the flesh as she hosts a bottomless brunch in the Baltic Triangle.
The self-proclaimed “world’s premier Gerri Halliwell impersonator” will treat attendees to “three hours of non-stop fun and entertainment,” this Saturday, November 19. During the event, which will take place at Blundells Supper Club from 2pm to 5pm, guests will be provided with 90 minutes of prosecco, food, wine and beer as part of the package.

She told the ECHO : “I haven’t been to the city before but I'm so excited about visiting the home of Danny Beard. If they are anything to go by I'm in for a warm welcome. Danny is a true Northerner, very determined.
"Whatever they set their mind to they will do - Look at Britain’s Got Talent. I can't wait to explore, it'll be my first time in Liverpool so all suggestions on where to go are welcome.”
On the day, RuPaul’s Drag Race fans also have the chance to experience a meet and greet with Just May. Asked what guests can expect, Just May added: “A lot of Spice, a touch of ginger and maybe I'll look like I’m about to cry. Honestly, it will be high camp.”
The two-course drag brunch menu ranges from chicken liver pate and crostini to liver meatballs in a tomato ragu sauce with fries. A veggie platter is also available and it includes hummus and olives and crostini and sweet potato fries and to finish off the meal is a fairy cake for dessert.
Tickets start from £5 for the Spice Girls show with Just May. You can book tickets and find more information online.
