Cam McEvoy believes Australia's astonishing domination of the Commonwealth Games swimming program offers a tantalising glimpse of a gold-laden home Olympics in Brisbane.

And the newly-crowned Glasgow 50m freestyle champion is determined to be one of the trailblazers on that "red-hot runway" to the 2032 Games, promising there's plenty of improvement to come from him.
