A pedestrian has been hospitalised with a head injury following a hit-and-run in West London on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to West End Road in Ruislip just after 1pm following reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian.
A man, 26, was found with a head injury by Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service.
He was rushed to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
The car failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate it and identify the driver, the Met said.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101 quoting reference 3268/15Nov.
A London Ambulance Spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a pedestrian and a car on Station Approach, South Ruislip. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and a medic in a fast-response car.
“Our first medic arrived in less than four minutes. We treated a person at the scene, before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
