Rudy Giuliani spokesperson shares health update on former mayor

Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani, 81, is hospitalized in Florida in "critical but stable" condition, recovering from pneumonia.
His spokesperson, Ted Goodman, confirmed Giuliani is now breathing on his own after requiring mechanical ventilation due to complications from a restrictive airway disease developed after 9/11.
The announcement of his hospitalization came Sunday evening, days after Giuliani was heard coughing on his America's Mayor Live broadcast.
Giuliani has recently faced significant legal and financial challenges, including disbarment, criminal indictments and a $148 million defamation judgment.
President Donald Trump commented on Giuliani's hospitalization, using the opportunity to reiterate his baseless claims about the 2020 election.
