'Rude' diners told a waitress she's 'not man enough' to work in a restaurant before walking out with paying the massive bill they had run up.
They failed to settle a bill for £80 then criticised the young waitress who was on shift.
Exo Poli, a Mediterranean restaurant, responded to the rude group on social media site Facebook.
Bosses described the three customers as "rude and confrontational" after their behaviour at the eatery in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
BirminghamLive reported customers left without paying the £81.90 bill on August 12.
They also told staff they would be writing an "awful review" and criticised the waitress saying: "If she’s not man enough to take it she shouldn’t be working in hospitality".
Staff were upset by their behaviour and have pleaded with people to "be kind" to those in the hospitality industry.
Dozens of commenters rushed to condemn the "disgusting" behaviour on the restaurant's online post and show their support.
Exo Poli posted on Facebook saying: "Hello everyone. Unfortunately tonight we have received some very poor and unacceptable behaviour within our restaurant.
"A table of three who we accommodated for tonight have ended up leaving our restaurant refusing to pay a £81.90 bill and being very rude and confrontational towards our staff.
"After being questioned on this behaviour towards a young waitress the very worrying response was given that 'if she’s not man enough to take it she shouldn’t be working in hospitality'.
"Behaviour like this will not be tolerated within our restaurant.
"The table of three have also informed us that they will be writing an awful review, unfortunately due to us being a small business negative reviews can really effect the image of our restaurant, we are so upset with the behaviour that has taken place tonight and we please just ask everyone to be kind. Thank you from the exo team."
Exo Poli is described on its social media site as "a little bit of Crete in Shrewsbury".
The rude diners contrasted to the bulk if reviewers of Tripadvisor where it is rated 4.5/5.
Earlier this month The Mirror told how bosses hit back a diner who left "substantial tip" before leaving a scathing review on Tripadvisor.
The reviewer, who was among a party of 10 people, described their experience as a "poor show" after visiting the Duke of York hostelry.
But the review branded their chicken goujons starter "awful" and their Bailey's cheesecake dessert "worse than the starters".
A spokesman for the Duke of York pub responded: "On paying the bill you were asked if everything had been ok and again you said yes, you then continued to leave a substantial tip??
"(Thank you) You had 3 opportunities to raise any issues you may have had but chose not to and then tip us for our ‘poor show’ and give us a poor review.
"I wouldn’t usually respond to such fiction but my team worked so hard on Sunday that this seems unfair."
