Ruben Dias is looking forward to seeing Joao Cancelo again even if his friend and teammate will be trying to knock Manchester City out of the Champions League.
Cancelo remains under contract at the Etihad but moved to Bayern Munich in January after falling out with Pep Guardiola over a lack of game time. The full-back is free to compete in Europe against his parent club and has pledged that he will do his best to help deliver Champions League triumph for Bayern.
A quirk of the draw means that Cancelo, if picked, will have to try to beat his teammates and friends if he is to succeed and Dias and Bernardo Silva are among those closest to him in the game. While the trio have been in touch as usual ahead of the game, it will be all business on the pitch.

"I must confess it will be strange," said Dias. "Not very long ago we were fighting together but it is what it is. It's football and the life we live. Decisions have been made and in a way it will be good to play against him and see him again.
"Especially after our time here again, Bernardo Silva, Joao and I built a close relationship and we kind-of are always in touch. We've been in contact but when the game starts each one of us will be on his own side."
