RTE viewers were once again raving about the Tommy Tiernan Show on Saturday night as funnyman Mario Rosenstock made a very 'real' appearance.
Viewers were pleased to see the Gift Grub impressionist open up about his family and encourage others to talk about their difficulties in life.
Speaking with Tommy Tiernan on his show last night, Mario Rosenstock praised the people of Ireland for the shift in attitude towards speaking out about the pain the struggles of miscarriage and mental health issues.

He is married to wife Blathnaid, and the couple share two children, son Dash and daughter Bellamie.
He told Tommy Tiernan on the show: “People in Ireland have been great in the last 10-12 years talking about things like mental health and miscarriage and opening up that discussion.”
The couple were overjoyed when Blathnaid became pregnant and gave birth to their first child together, a son named Dash who Mario labelled an “unbelievable joy”. He and Blathnaid also have a daughter called Bellamie who is five years younger than Dash.
Mario said on the show how it took him years of self-reflection to realise who he really is.
He explained to Tommy Tiernan: "I find that through my twenties, thirties and forties your head is down so much you don't really come up for air. It's only when you realise then 'okay this is what I do, what I am, and I'm married and have a family' that you kind of come up for air and go 'but who am I really?'
"I think every man and woman comes to a point in their life they call it middle age, where they just reflect on who you are and think about what their life has been in the past. I've been opening myself up to that and finding out more about myself, and realising that I'm damaged, the same way everyone and we've all got our damage.
"And I had a problem for many years because I didn't bother talking about it so all the little things that happen in our family that create the person we are, I said I can't keep bottling this up so I actually began talking about it," said Mario.
One person wrote: "Delighted to see the real Mario Rosenstock. Great interview." A second added: "I was afraid he come out with his impersonations but he very open. Wonderful talk."
A third said: "Would have liked that interview with @GiftGrubMario to go on another bit, felt like it was cut short twice. First when he was talking about his Granda and then at the end. Mario is such a nice guy though and always so funny."
A fourth commented: "When he’s on the late late I would probably turn this chat off. On this @GiftGrubMario this is a compelling interview. Great tv."
