RTE's mammoth 3,000-word statement on Ryan Tubridy payment scandal IN FULL as they say 'no illegality' found

RTE has released a lengthy statement regarding the payments controversy surrounding the broadcaster and top earner Ryan Tubridy.

The statement from the interim Deputy Director-General of RTÉ, Adrian Lynch, has been issued along with a Grant Thornton report into practices surrounding payments made to the radio and TV star in the years from 2020 to 2022.
