Ed Sheeran got his Croke Park gigs underway on Saturday as thousands of fans crowded into Dublin's northside to see the popstar.
Fans were promised that the shows would have "all the bells and whistles", and it looks as though the star didn't disappoint as the stage was "like nothing anyone has ever seen before".
But Saturday was also a big day of GAA, and RTE sports presenter Des Cahill tweeted a picture of one concert goer who couldn't miss it.

The broadcast legend said: "The woman sitting in front of my daughter-in-law at #EdSheeran concert is watching the Hurling on her phone!! #LIMvWAT - That’s what Croke Park is for… watching Matches."
Once that ended and Limerick saw off a stiff Waterford challenge, Sheeran, whose grandparents hail from Belfast and Wexford, crowned his week in the capital with an energetic live set.
Warm up acts Denise Chaila and Maisie Peters went down a storm – but it was the main man everyone had come to see.
The singer-songwriter kicked off his Mathematics tour in Drumcondra – the first gig at the GAA headquarters since the pandemic hit over two years ago.
Fans had been promised a stage set up like nothing ever seen before and they weren’t disappointed, with many comparing it to U2’s iconic “claw” stage.
Concert promoter Peter Aiken told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “This is the first year of his three-year world tour. It’s great that we’re getting the first date.
“It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s in the round and it’s all bells and whistles.
“It’s going to be so different from anything he’s ever done before.”
