Liveline listeners yesterday expressed their confusion around two seemingly similar Van Gogh themed events taking place in Dublin.
A listener contacted host Joe Duffy to explain that she had booked two tickets for Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, which was said to be in a "secret location" in Dublin. She became confused once she was sent something online about a Van Gogh event happening in the RDS.
She also told the presenter that she was recently notified of the event she booked tickets for being postponed.

"We knew at the time when we were booking the tickets that there wasn't a venue. That was kind of the excitement of it. But we knew it was going to be a Dublin venue," she told Joe.
"My friend sent me a link to say there's another Van Gogh exhibition on in the RDS."
Listeners then learned that there is another "immersive" Van Gogh event happening in Dublin, Van Gogh: An Immersive Journey in the RDS in Ballsbridge.
The Van Gogh event due to take place in the "secret location" is organised by Fever and Exhibition Hub, who revealed that it has been postponed due to "production delays".
Joe Duffy heard from listeners who had gone to the Fever Van Gogh event in cities around the world such as London and Seattle who offered mixed reviews.
PR Manager for Fever Oliver Davies told Liveline: "Unfortunately, we did come across some production delays which has meant that we had to postpone the opening of the experience.
"We tend to not reveal our venues until much closer to the actual opening day because we find that builds a little bit of excitement around the experience and helps our marketing process and things like that. It helps to drum up excitement.
"We first started selling Van Gogh through Fever in 2021. We started in the US, we were doing a lot of cities across the United States, and then we came to London last year. We just opened in Bristol last month."
He went on to explain that the announcement of the Van Gogh event in Dublin's RDS was "one of the reasons" Fever decided to bring their event to Dublin, but that there were also a "variety of reasons"
"We’ve been present in Dublin for a while now. We also sell other events, experiences, particularly our candlelight concerts that have been very popular there," he added.
Oliver also said that anyone who wants a refund for the tickets they booked to Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience can get one.
