Over €2 million was raised by RTE Late Late Show viewers on Friday night after a special episode of the talk show.
The show opened with a special video production and speech from Ryan Tubridy which saw harrowing footage and photographs of children fleeing as missiles rained down upon Ukrainian cities.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin labelled Vladimir Putin an 'evil man' while speaking to Ryan, and also urged the Irish public to donate to the Irish Red Cross appeal for the war-torn country.
That they did, with a whopping €2 million being raised throughout the episode.
At times, the website - donate.redcross.ie - crashed, as it did during the Late Late Toy Show appeal previosuly.
Once again, Revolut came to the rescue, as people were able to donate through the app.
At the close of the show, we learned that the total raised stood at €2.2 million.
Tonight's episode was a fundraiser for the Irish Red Cross in Ukraine, with donate.redcross.ie seeing thousands of people rush to the site after the opening.
People took to social media to praise the opening.
Minister Simon Harris said: "Utterly heartbreaking and devastating scenes from #Ukraine on the #LateLateShow. Such a horrific, illegal attack on a beautiful country but also a barbaric attack on people, families, communities, humanity, democracy."
