Una Walsh, who is almost completely deaf, wowed over two million people back in December when she performed the harp on the Late Late Toy Show.
The Wexford native stole the hearts of the nation on the annual spectacular after she explained her situation to Ryan.
But now, things are a little bit different.
Una has just received a life-changing hearing aid.
So on Friday, she joined Ryan to perform once more alongside her mum Barbara.
Barbara told Ryan about the tough circumstances when Una was born.
She said: "Everyone saw how inspirational she is. She arrived at 26 and a half weeks in the neonatal ICU in Waterford. They were amazing, she was 1lb 5oz. Our village had a vigil for a long time and she had heart surgery. She's a tough nut.
"Una was going into fourth class and we realised that she was lip-reading. When the teacher turned around to the board, she was missing anything. She got hearing aids and they definitely helped.
Una explained how it was her mother than inspired her love of music.
She said: "The first time I really showed interest was when I was five and saw someone on the Toy Show playing a harp. I just wanted to play it."
"There's an app through Bluetooth. I can turn them up and down. I could hear people in my class talking but I could also mute my Mam. It's so good!
"When anyone would ring me, I had to put it on speaker, but now it streams straight into my ears and directly hear it."
Ryan and the crew at RTE had one more surprise up her sleeve.
The RTE Concert Orchestra then gifted her the opportunity to bring her harp along to play alongside the orchestra, which she gratefully accepted.
Musician Emma Langford tweeted: "I've said it before and I'll say it again... Una's a wee legend"
Another user said: "The harp playing girl is inspirational, fair play"
While a third tweet read: "God I’m glad the harp is our national emblem. It’s bloody beautiful."
A fourth said: "Una Walsh is just a fabulous young girl. An emotional watch "
