The Late Late Show on Friday night featured a variety of guests on the day it was announced that the majority of Ireland's Covid restrictions would be lifted.
The programme started off with an overview of the renewed freedoms people can enjoy from Saturday, including the full reopening of pubs and nightclubs and the removal of social distancing rules.
Also on the show was Irish coach Lisa Fallon who received plaudits after she bravely opened up about being assaulted as a teenager.
Kenneth Branagh, Kathryn Thomas and the Operation Transformation leaders were also interviewed by Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy this week.
However, it was one musical performance that led many people to take to social media to share their opinions.
People shared their thoughts of the special musical performance by Eleanor McEvoy, Mary Black and other musicians singing Only a Woman's Heart, with many sharing the same view.
One person claimed that the performance was "butchered", while others were disappointed that it didn't match past renditions.
A Late Late Show viewer said: "Sorry, love you all But this was seriously bad I don’t want to be mean."
A second wrote: "Sorry. A Woman's Heart was (and I'm trying to be kind ) almost recited. When a voice is gone, it's gone. It's that simple.#LateLateShow."
A third said: "Am I the only one in the country who hates that A woman's heart song?"
While a fourth person said: "Bring back restrictions until the live performers get some practice in #LateLateShow."
Another viewer said: "Mary Black's vocals are fairly dodgy #latelate #LateLateShow."
One questioned: "Right, what happened to the real Mary Black? #LateLateShow."
Someone else said: "Could they be more outta tune #LateLateShow #latelate."
And another added: "Why can't mary sing anymore? #latelateshow."
While one other RTE viewer stated: "Ah stop. Today's been emotional enough. #awomansheart #latelateshow."
