RTE's hit crime drama Kin is set to make its big return on Sunday, and one of the show's stars has shared a sneak peek of the Kinsellas facing a new threat.
After an explosive season finale which saw rival crime boss Eamon Cunningham (played by Ciaran Hinds) get killed off, the Kinsellas are at the top of their game. But their world is set to be shaken up by the arrival of Nuray Batuk (Öykü Karayel) and cousin Hazma (Kenan Ece) from a rival cartel in Turkey who had dodgy dealings with Eamon.
In a sneak peak shared on social media by Kin star Emmett J Scanlon and RTE, his character Jimmy and on-screen wife Amanda are shocked to learn that former enemy Eamon owed the Turkey cartel a whopping €70million. And since Eamon is out of the picture, the sinister Turkey cartel is coming after the Kinsella family for the debt.

Taking to social media, Kin's Emmet J Scanlon tweeted on Wednesday: "Sneak peak....This Gods Day. This Mother's Day. This Sunday. #Kin #RTE." In the clip, a bewildered Amanda and Jimmy are seen meeting up with new foes Nuray Batuk and her cousin Hazma.
It appears that Jimmy's brother Michael (Charlie Cox) also killed Nuray's brother in the season finale as he killed Eamon. In the trailer she says: "Michael Kinsella killed my brother and he will pay for that."
When asked by Amanda what they are doing on their home turf in Dublin, Nuray coolly replies: "To discuss Eamon Cunningham's debt to my family. He owed my father almost €70million and as you killed him, the debt is now yours."
Jimmy Kinsella exclaims: "You're f****** joking." Meanwhile, Amanda keeps her cool and attempts to negotiate, reasoning that they haven't made that much money on the drugs they took from Eamon.
Nuray then warns the Kinsella family that it won't be just Michael who has a target on his back if they fail to deliver what is owed. It's clear that the Kinsella family will be up against a ruthless rival gang that's not afraid to get their hands dirty.
Elsewhere, Viking is released from prison intent on making trouble, and a looming presence from inside the family returns. Returning cast includes Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Clare Dunne (Herself), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Sam Keeley (Joe vs Carole), Emmett J. Scanlan (Peaky Blinders), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Outlander), and Yasmin Seky.
Kin airs on RTE One on Sunday, March 19 at 9:30pm.
