Rajya Sabha to bid farewell to 72 retiring members from across the parties. Chairman Venkaiah Naidu announced that there will be no Question Hour or Zero Hour to allow the retiring members to make their farewell speeches.
He is also hosting a dinner for the retiring members and bidding goodbye to the upper house, the members will host a cultural show. Many of the retiring members will be singing on the occasion, TMC MP Dola Sen, DMK MP Tiruchi Siva, BJP MP Rupa Ganguly, BJP MP Ramachandra Jhangra, NCP MP Vandana Chavan and all of them will be accompanied on guitar by TMC MP Santanu Sen.
