Rs 104 lakh crore club: India's richest 3,040 now hold wealth equal to 30% of GDP

India's top wealth creators now control Rs 104 lakh crore in individual wealth, equal to nearly 30% of the country's nominal GDP, showing both the scale of private wealth creation and the sharp concentration of money at the top.

The 360 ONE Wealth Creators List 2026, prepared with Crisil Intelligence, studied a Rs 330 lakh crore wealth base across listed and unlisted holdings. The final list includes 3,040 individuals with wealth above Rs 425 crore each. Together, their combined individual net worth stands at Rs 104 lakh crore, or about 1.2 times the size of India’s mutual fund industry.
