RPF detains suspected shooter in Tripura BJP man’s murder case from Jharkhand

AGARTALA: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel detained 35-year-old Akash Kar at Pakur railway station of Jharkhand based on the input of Tripura police on Thursday afternoon for his alleged involvement in the shootout incident of Durga Prasanna Deb, a BJP worker in Agartala airport area on April 30.

A police team left for Pakur to bring him to the state on transit remand for interrogation.
