Being given a grand title is one of the many privileges of being a member of the Royal Family.
And many of them are well known, with Kate also going by the Princess of Wales, Prince William by the Prince of Wales and Prince Harry by the Duke of Sussex.
But for many of the royals - it's not just the one title they boast, some have two or even three extra but lesser-known titles.
Just today, it was revealed that letters patent have been passed to officially give the seal of approval for a whole new raft of titles for heir to the throne William.
So what are some of these titles for him, Kate and the rest of the family? We take a look...
Prince William
After the death of the late Queen, King Charles bestowed his oldest son Prince William the title of Prince of Wales - but that's not the only one he has.
He also inherited titles previously held by his father, which are Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, the Earl of Carrick, the Baron Renfrew and the Earl of Chester. He is also as heir to throne the Lord of the Isles and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland.
But it doesn't stop there - he also retains the titles given to him on his wedding day by his late grandmother the Queen. These are Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus.
Kate Middleton
With husband William taking on a multitude of titles, as his wife Kate is able to use the female versions of most of these - most notably Princess of Wales.
This means she is also now Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, Countess of Carrick, Baroness Renfrew and Countess of Chester.
She too also retains the titles of Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus that she was granted on her wedding day in 201.1.
Prince Harry
Like his older brother William, Prince Harry has always been a prince since his birth.
And in the same way, he was also granted a dukedom on his wedding day becoming Duke of Sussex.
In addition, he was also granted the Scottish title Earl of Dumbarton as well as the Northern Irish style Baron Kilkeel.
Meghan Markle
Like her sister-in-law Kate, Meghan Markle didn't have any title before marrying into the royal family.
And after husband Harry was made Duke of Sussex - she took the title Duchess of Sussex.
She also took the female versions of his other titles meaning she is also Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel.
Princess Beatrice
Like her cousins William and Harry, Princess Beatrice has been a princess since birth as a granddaughter of the Queen.
And it appears that on her wedding day to husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi she inherited a unique title - but not from her grandmother.
That's because Edo is an Italian count meaning that when he wed Beatrice - she became a countess.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Mr Mozzi’s father, Count Allessandro Mapelli Mozzi, said: “Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation.
“He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”
Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex
Unlike his brothers who were granted dukedoms on their wedding days, Prince Edward was given the title Earl of Wessex and his wife Sophie was made Countess of Wessex.
But as a present from his mother the Queen for his 55th birthday, Edward was given another title - Earl of Forfar.
This means that Sophie takes on the female version - Countess of Forfar.
