It's been a momentous year with the death of the Queen, our longest-reigning monarch. It prompted an our-pouring of grief and tributes from across the globe.

People around the world came together to share their memories, and there were some affecting personal tributes from her children, Charles, Anne, Andrew, Edward, and grandchildren.

The Queen's funeral, packed full of pageantry, ritual, and affection, is an event that will long hold dear in people's hearts.

Queen Elizabeth II has been a steady presence these last seven decades, guiding 'the firm' with a steady hand, even when the going got rough. With her passing came the birth of a new era and a new King on the throne, Charles III and his consort Camilla.

Any concerns about him were swiftly swept away with a smooth transition from Queen to King. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been elevated to the ancient titles of Duke of Cornwall, handed down from Prince William's father, the new King, and with it comes the riches of the Duchy estate.

There has been a few ripples however. Harry and Megan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, continue to create headlines from their new home across the Atlantic. Meanwhile, the supposed favourite son of the Queen, Prince Andrew, has slipped from view, apart from an appearance at his mothers funeral - without military uniform.
