Royal Mail has warned it is experiencing disruption in ten of its delivery offices in the UK because of staff absences.
The postal service has blamed the number of workers self isolating due to covid for the delays.
"Resourcing" and "other local factors" have been attributed to the upheaval - as Mirror Online reports.

Royal Mail said some places may not receive post six days a week as normal as a result of the shortage.
A total of 15 postcodes have been hit with delays, including two on Merseyside.
Hoylake Delivery O ffice has been affected by the disruption which could impact post in CH47 and CH48.
It comes after Royal Mail warned how 56 of its delivery offices were experiencing disruption last week as customers complained they were receiving Christmas cards well into January.
Royal Mail was hit by service delays in 22 places back in December.
Despite a struggling service, Royal Mail reported pre-tax profits of £315million in the six months to the end of September.
A statement on the Royal Mail site reads: “Deliveries are operating as normal across most of the country today. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
“In a small number of local offices this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as covid-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.
“In those cases we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.”
It added: “We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”
