Royal Enfield Launch a Long-Distance Himalayan Mana Black Edition

If you follow us here at RideApart, you know that Executive Editor, Jonathon Klein, is obsessed with Royal Enfield's Himalayan and its endless capabilities, especially considering its $5,799 base price. The brand launched the Himalayan Mana Black Edition at EICMA 2025 to mark its 125-year anniversary, and this unit appears to be more capable than ever.

The Mana Black Edition is a variant of the existing Himalayan, and the first thing that you'll notice is its distinctive dark paint scheme. It's essentially a black and gray color scheme that forms mountainous tones and represents the Mana Pass, which is located in northern India at 18,478 feet above sea level, and from which the bike takes its name.

But pay attention to the extras that make this bike even better than the base model for long-distance traveling.

The Mana Black Edition has been fitted with a range of optional accessories, which include black hand guards, a black rally seat, and a new mudguard for the trails. But, of course, the last thing you want when you're traveling long distances is tubed tires, so this model rolls on tubeless rubber, but the spoked rims stay and help to ensure the Mana Black Edition looks as rugged as its name suggests.

This model will go on sale in India and Europe, and in Europe, it'll set you back €6,600 ($7,594.39). But if you're in the US and this bike has your tail wagging, you might be in for disappointment. Royal Enfield hasn't said that this special-edition Himalayan is coming to the US; however, it hasn't said otherwise. So, keep an eye on all things Royal Enfield to see if the Mana Black Edition will make its way to your local dealership.

I've yet to ride the Himalayan 450, but I'm hoping to change that soon. Even so, I still know a bargain when I see one, and the Himalayan 450 is exactly that, but I want to hear from you: what's the motorcycle bargain of the year in 2025?
