Family vacations are great. But parents and other adult family members can often feel like a getaway with the whole crew can be exhausting. It’s nice to set aside some time for the grown-ups – after all, it’s their vacation, too.
This is exactly the sentiment behind Royal Caribbean’s (RCL) -) newest adults-only attraction at CocoCay in the Bahamas. For those planning a stop at the amusement park on the private island paradise, the new Hideaway Beach creates a perfect adult escape.

Hideaway Beach will open in January and feature a huge infinity pool with a swim-up bar and music provided by a DJ. The attraction will also play host to the first sports bar on the island, which will also serve as a live music spot. At the Hideout cabana, those who are 18 and older can luxuriate in a private pool.

This new feature is, according to Royal Caribbean’s chief product innovation officer, an answer to a frequent request made by customers. "One of the number one things that guests have been looking for at CocoCay is an adults-only space," he told The Points Guy.
Hideaway Beach rests on the northwest side of the island and will also include private cabanas for large party rentals. Day passes for the exclusive experience start at $39 and go up to $89, depending on which day you go.
