Frankie Dettori has had a Royal Ascot to forget so far this week but that could all change when he gets on Inspiral in today's Group 1 Coronation Stakes.
The unbeaten Inspiral looks set to go off favourite for the £500,000 fillies' contest despite having not been seen on the track since winning the Fillies' Mile in October.
Inspiral's biggest threat on paper looks to be 1,000 Guineas heroine Cachet, whose stable plundered their first Royal Ascot prize when Inver Park landed Thursday's concluding Buckingham Palace Stakes.
The other Group 1 contest on day four is the six-furlong Commonwealth Cup where Perfect Power is a 4-1 favourite to give Richard Fahey a second winner of the week after The Ridler's controversial 50-1 success in Thursday's Norfolk Stakes. There is money around for one or two of his rivals though, notably Karl Burke's prolific winner El Caballo.

Ground conditions are officially described as good to firm on both the straight and round courses after 6mm of water was added to the track on Thursday evening.
Today's seven-race Royal Ascot card begins at 2.30 and runs right through to the final contest at 6.10. ITV Racing will be showing EVERY race throughout the week - the first six will be on the main channel while the final will be shown on ITV4.
Fast ground and stunning weather look set to be the theme of the week up until Saturday when thunderstorms are forecast, and most importantly, Ascot is back to full capacity for the first time since the pandemic.
