Some of the world's most skilled knights will be doing battle at an international jousting tournament in Leeds.
Medieval martial arts experts from the UK, Norway and Portugal will be going head-to-head in full armour at the Royal Armouries, from April 15 to 18. Expect thundering hooves, splintering lances and falls as top gladiators put their training to the test in Armouries' purpose-built tiltyard.
The winner will be rewarded with the Sword of Honour and the Queen's Jubilee Trophy in an event based on 15th-century jousting competitions. Duels take place at 12pm and 3pm each day.
