Roy Keane has become a figure of hate in Brazil over his criticism of their celebrations during Monday night’s last-16 win over South Korea - with one former club official saying he should “get f**ked”.
Keane wasn’t happy with the Samba stars, who marked each of their four goals with dance moves.
Even manager Tite joined in at one stage, when Brazil’s third goalscorer Richarlison raced over to the dugout.

“I don’t mind the first kind of little jig – whatever they’re doing – but they’re still doing it after that, and then the manager getting involved with it,” he said on ITV.
“I’m not happy with it, I don’t think it’s very good at all.”
Those comments were quickly picked up across the Atlantic, where former Flamengo official, actor and screenwriter Antonio Tabet offered the strongest criticism.
He tweeted that Keane “should get f**ked”.
Tabet added: “Ireland’s Roy Keane complaining about goal celebrations at a World Cup is like Ronaldinho disapproving of bobsledding at the Winter Olympics.”
Newspaper columnists also raged against the Corkman, while Botafogo coach Luis Castro slammed the former Ireland international.
He said: “Roy Keane doesn’t understand Brazilian football culture. He doesn’t understand the Brazilian team.
“We all know that [the dance] isn’t disrespectful to anyone. It just shows real unity between the coach and the players.
“The world of football shouldn’t worry about this because we’ve become accustomed to Roy Keane’s inelegant and sometimes very arrogant statements.”
And Brazil star Lucas Paquetá, who played against the South Koreans, also weighed in with his own criticism of Keane.
“We’re celebrating because it’s our moment. We scored a goal and Brazil is celebrating,” he said.
“If he [Keane] doesn’t like it, there’s not a lot I can do for him. If we score another goal, we’ll carry on celebrating like this.”
