Roy Keane believes Wout Weghorst will be a success at Manchester United if he can finish the season with at least five goals.
Following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, United needed to recruit a new striker in the January transfer window to bolster Erik ten Hag's options but had limited funds to do so following a massive expenditure in the summer. As a result, a loan move for Burnley striker Weghorst was devised.
It wasn't an easy deal to pull off as the Dutchman was on loan at Besiktas and with Burnley not having a recall option the Turkish club were reluctant to let their top scorer leave. United eventually managed to get the transfer done and it's just as well as yet another injury for Anthony Martial has meant Weghorst has started every game he has been available for.

The 30-year-old grabbed his first goal for the club in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, instinctively firing in a rebound after a powerful Antony shot was saved. Keane has explained what the striker must do to make his short stint a positive one.
"People maybe talk about his time at Burnley, and I saw one or two games at Burnley - particularly when he played against Manchester United - and I thought again, I don’t want to use that phrase handful, I think he’s more than that," Keane said on Sky Sports when asked about his perception of Weghorst before the move.
"If he can score five or six goals by the end of the season then it would have been a good deal for everybody. United get a chance to have a look at him, it’s a loan deal so there’s no big commitment for Manchester United financially, and I think that they had to take that gamble because they were short. Ronaldo left and Martial [is injured], you need that body in there."
