Football legend Roy Keane has just purchased a luxury property at one of Dublin's most expensive apartment developments.
The footballer snapped up an apartment at Landsdowne Place which overlooks the Aviva Stadium where Roy made many a memory back in the Lansdowne Road days. Currently, Roy lives in Cheshire in the UK with his wife Theresa and the pair reportedly closed the deal shortly before Christmas, according to The Irish Times.
Landsdowne Place is home to a number of luxury apartments, penthouses and townhouses. There are more than 200 properties in the development that range from €800,000 to more than €6 million.

The Ireland and Manchester United star isn't the only famous face to own property at this location, as Rod Stewart also bought a place there in 2021. However, it is not known whether Roy will live in the property or if it's an investment.
The news comes after the outspoken pundit appeared on The Tommy Tiernan Show for a rare interview, where he opened up about family life with his wife Theresa and their five children Shannon, Caragh, Leah and Alanna and Aidan. Speaking about being a dad, he told Tommy: "They are very good kids."
"Obviously, when they get older there are boyfriends and that type of carry on. That can be.. " he added. Roy also revealed that he only "had one really proper date" with Theresa at the beginning of their relationship and it didn't go to plan.
He recalled: "We met, I picked her up at the city ground at Forest and we went for a spin. I said to her 'do you fancy going to the pictures,' because at least at the pictures you can just watch the movie, you don’t have to chat too much, and she said no!"
"She said 'no, I went last night with my friends,' and I said 'well, there are other movies on? I said do you want to go for a drink and she said no... I literally drove back to the car, this was all within ten, fifteen minutes and she said 'what are you doing.'"
"I said well you don't want to go for a drink, you don't want to go to the pictures, what else can we do?'" The Cork man added: "That was our first date and we're still married!"
