With the international break in full swing over the weekend, Liverpool Legends were in action at Anfield.
Saturday saw Liverpool Legends take on their Manchester United counterparts in a charity match. It was the second instalment of the ‘Legends of the North’, which saw the Reds claim a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Mark Gonzalez and Florent Sinama Pongolle.
Shortly before kick-off, Man United legend Roy Keane was added to the squad for the visitors. The Sky Sports pundit came off the bench in the second half, and received a wave of boos from the Anfield crowd.

Seemingly every time Keane touched the ball, the home fans went on to boo the former United captain. Despite featuring in the match, the 51-year-old played just 15 minutes.
While Keane did not speak to reporters after the final whiostle, he has previously spoken about his current state of fitness. Having been retired since 2006, the ex-Man United midfielder said last month that he would struggle to play many minutes.
"I'm not fit. I'm far from fit,” Keane told Off The Ball last month. “My fitness levels are actually very, very embarrassing.
"Just because I've not put on loads of weight doesn't mean to say I'm fit. I wouldn't really be able to do any running.
"Put it this way, I've been invited a number of times over the last few years to play legends games or whatever you want to call it. I'd find it really difficult because I wouldn't be able to get around. Too many injury problems."
