Jamie Carragher believes that 99% of Manchester United fans will disagree with Cristiano Ronaldo's recent actions, with Roy Keane being part of the 1% that may try and defend the United icon.
Ronaldo shocked the world last night when he appeared in an interview with Piers Morgan on Talk TV. In the chat, Ronaldo slammed the club, claimed he is being forced out of United, said he had no respect for manager Erik Ten Hag and has claimed that he has been made the Black Sheep of Manchester United.
The interview has caused plenty of controversy already with many fans condemning Ronaldo for his actions. There are however some who believe that Ronaldo has been disrespected by the club and that much of his actions are justififed.

Liverpool legend Carragher believes Roy Keane will fall into this latter group. The pair have clashed on Sky Sports numberous times in the past few months over Ronaldo's alleged grievences with United.
Earlier in the season, Ronaldo left the ground before the conclusion of United's game with Spurs. The following weekend, Keane appeared on Sky Sports and tried to defend Ronaldo.
"The fact he walked down the tunnel, he's obviously been punished for it. But I try to see it from a player's point of view, he's obviously had enough, he's lost the head, and I think it's been brewing over the last few weeks with Ronaldo.
"But I will still try to defend him, he's a human being, he's got flaws, he feels frustrated that he's not been getting opportunities and he's had enough."
Despite yet another bout of ill-discipline and disrespect shown towards the club, Carragher believes that Keane will still try and defend Ronaldo in a similar manner to which he has done all season.
Carragher posted on Twitter, "Ronaldo “I don’t respect the manager” Ronaldo under ETH: Announced he wanted to leave, refused to come on as a substitute, walked off the bench & left before the game had finished. 99% of United fans will be on the side of ETH, which shows how badly Ronaldo has handled this."
In a later post, Carragher claimed that Keane and fellow former Ronaldo teammates Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra would try and defend Ronaldo.
"The 1% will be Rio, Roy & Patrice…."
The Ronaldo interview has gotten plenty of attention on social media over the last 12 hours or so. And with many fans pointing out the similarities between Ronaldo's situation and Keane's infamous 2005 MUTV outburst, perhaps Carragher may be onto something with his claim.
