'It's a joke' - Jurgen Klopp issues Darwin Nunez warning after Liverpool goal
Jurgen Klopp is confident Darwin Nunez will only continue to improve after putting in a statement performance against Manchester City.
As was the case when he opened his goalscoring account for Liverpool versus RB Leipzig, the Uruguayan forward required only one half of football to make his mark. Deployed just before the hour mark on this occasion, the 23-year-old was pivotal to the Reds' Community Shield win as fans were provided another indication of his quality.

A goal-bound header by the striker was handled by Ruben Dias, resulting in a penalty and Mohamed Salah scoring from 12-yards. Nunez then capped off a memorable afternoon by scoring a goal of his own in stoppage time, leaving the Liverpool boss in no doubt that there will be many more moments of brilliance to come during the upcoming campaign.
