Roy Keane gives verdict on Liverpool draw at Fulham and 'clumsy' mistake

Liverpool Roy Keane Fulham Jurgen Klopp EPL Darwin Nunez Virgil van Dijk Sky Sports Aleksandar Mitrovic

Roy Keane has explained why he was “surprised” by Liverpool’s draw with Fulham.

The Reds had to settle for a point as they were held to a 2-2 stalemate in their Premier League opener at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Second half goals from Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah helped earn a draw for Liverpool.

It was the first time since 2017 that Liverpool haven’t won their first league fixture of the new season. Next up for Jurgen Klopp’s side is a home clash against Crystal Palace on Monday, August 15.
