The Atlanta Falcons improved to 5-3 on the season following their 31-26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was another game where the stats didn’t look great, but the win feels just as good.
Defensively, the Falcons had a tough time slowing down the Buccaneers on offense. Baker Mayfield passed for 330 yards and three touchdowns while the Bucs racked up another 102 yards on the ground.
As we’ve seen all season, though, Atlanta stepped up in the game’s biggest moments. Jessie Bates had another Defensive Player of the Year type of performance and quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for another four touchdowns against the Bucs.
After the game, the locker room was as rowdy as it has been all year. Watch the team celebrate another huge division win below, as shared by the team’s social media account.
