NEW DELHI: A tweet by Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu about the Indian Air Force (IAF)’s rescue operation in the state during the existing inclement weather conditions has triggered a controversy.

In a tweet on July 12, Sukhu thanked state minister Jagat Negi, chief parliamentary secretary (CPS) Sanjay Awasthy, frontline and staff for their efforts in the ongoing rescue mission.
