A row has broken out over proposals to build protected cycle lanes alongside Hyde Park that would include four “floating” bus stops.
Floating bus stops, also known as bus stop bypasses or bus stop islands, have been the subject of growing controversy because of fears that they place bus passengers, particularly those with impaired vision or hearing, at risk when boarding or alighting from a bus.
