A row has broken out after Transport for London provisionally awarded a Spanish arms firm a £1.5bn contract to run its ticketing system.
TfL had been searching for an IT company to deliver the next generation of digital ticketing across the capital’s Tube, bus and train network and to upgrade the dated Oyster card.
