Frank Lampard's time as Everton manager is over.
It emerged this afternoon Lampard's reign at Goodison Park had come to an end after less than one full year in charge of the Blues, his final game at the helm proving to be Saturday's defeat at the home of West Ham United.
Appointed on January 31 of last year, the 44-year-old helped Everton retain their Premier League status in dramatic style last season by securing a comeback victory against Crystal Palace to end relegation fears.

This season has not panned out in the way Lampard would have hoped, having earned only three Premier League victories all season, but he continued to back himself to fix the problems facing the club after each defeat in recent weeks.
Reaction to his dismissal has been mixed among supporters, as shown below, with some of the view this was a match destined to fail from the start while others have argued the ex-Chelsea boss was simply not provided the tools to succeed.
