REGAN CHARLES-COOK has left Ross County to join Belgian top-flight side K.A.S. Eupen.
Having narrowly missed out on a fifth place finish and a chance of European football, the league's joint top goal scorer of last season has left Dingwall for pastures new.
After scoring so many in Scotland, County did everything in their power to tie the 25-year-old down, but they failed to come to an agreement, and he now departs on a free.
Several clubs were rumoured to have interest in the Grenadian international as his contract ticked down, including fellow Scottish clubs Hibernian and Hearts.
The competition was brushed aside though by K.A.S. Eupen who finished 15th in the league last season.
The winger moved to the Global Energy Stadium in 2020 from Gillingham, and prior to that, he was at Charlton Athletic and Arsenal’s youth academy.
The 13-goal man moves to the Belgian first division on a three-year contract.
Ross County confirmed his departure saying: “We wish (Charles-Cook) all the very best as he moves on following the expiry of his contract here in Dingwall.
"Regan has been a fantastic player for Ross County and one that will always be fondly remembered at the Global Energy Stadium.”
