Derek Adams has returned to Ross County for a third time.
Roy MacGregor has poached the 48-year-old from Morecambe as he looks to get the Staggies' season up and running.
He was quickly identified as the candidate to replace Malky Mackay, who was sacked by the Premiership strugglers last week.
Adams, who first joined County as manager in 2007, and then re-joined before leaving in 2014, will take charge of his first game as boss again this weekend when Kilmarnock visits the Highlands.
He is somewhat of a cult hero from his previous spells in charge. He led them to First and Second Division title success. He also guided County to a Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Celtic in 2010.
Adams has spent the last nine years managing down south with Plymouth, Bradford City plus two spells at Morecambe where he went back in February, 2022, to replace St Mirren-bound Stephen Robinson.

A club statement confirmed: "Ross County Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of new manager, Derek Adams.
"Derek joins the club for his third spell in the role, having spent 9 years managing in England with Morecambe, Bradford City and Plymouth Argyle.
"Derek has previously managed over 250 games for Ross County, leading the club to promotion and the league title in the 2011/12 season, winning PFA Scotland’s manager of the year award in the same year.
"The backroom staff will all remain at the club in their respective roles."
