A POPULAR arts festival shaped by young programmers and headlined by the award-winning comedian Rosie Jones is aiming to “amplify diverse voices and break down barriers to culture” as it kicks off this weekend.

The University of Aberdeen’s cross-arts literary festival WayWORD will return from October 3-11 for its seventh year.
