Rosie Jones: the 10 funniest things I have ever seen (on the internet)

I am the BIGGEST procrastinator. Heck, I’ve been procrastinating writing this article, by watching funny clips on the internet. But I have finally pulled myself away from funny internet videos to … tell you about funny internet videos! You are so welcome!

1. A father and baby having a conversation

OK, this sums up my humour PERFECTLY: something incredibly cute and incredibly silly. Why do I find a baby trying to have a conversation so damn funny? I don’t know, but I do. I think DJ Pryor (the daddy) is brilliant. His pauses make it so perfect. And, the baby … I WANT TO SQUISH HIS FACE.

2. Adrian Bliss

Every time Adrian Bliss releases a new video, I squeal. He’s a wonderfully silly boy, and this one is my favourite. It’s now got to the point where my flatmate and I say “meetings, meetings, meetings” when we leave the house in the morning!

3. Saturday Night Live: Tom Hanks as David Pumpkins

As a comedian, SNL is obviously my go-to when I want to watch a funny sketch … they’re masters of the form. But this is my all-time favourite, because TOM HANKS IS MY GOD. Every time I watch it, it gets funnier. I often yell “I’m David Pumpkins!” to myself every now and then.

4. Bottoms on Bottoms: Amy Adams and Nicole Kidman

I love everything Joe Gunn does, and this one is brilliant and my kind of rude. Nicole and Amy talk intensely about … bottoming. I have sent this to all my gay boyfriends, it is amazing.

5. Victoria Wood’s quote of the day

Obviously, Victoria Wood is my queen, and the reason why I got into standup comedy. She was a master of the English language, and this Twitter page, @VictoriaQOTD makes me SO HAPPY! It quotes her sitcom Dinnerladies a lot and every line of that show is mwah, chef’s kiss.

6. Munya Chawawa – Matt Hancock – It Was Me

Munya is crazy talented and so funny. His turnaround for political news sketches is insanely fast – as soon as we hear of a British scandal we’re counting down the mere hours before we get a super-slick, hilarious video from Munya. This is a smashing one, especially because it rips into the then UK health secretary Matt Hancock, who, safe to say, I am not a fan of!

7. Mr Bingo

Mr Bingo is my favourite artist. The first thing I bought when I moved into my flat was one of his works. They are hilarious, and it is my dream in life to have an entire wall full of Bingos. His pieces could not be more up my street.

8. Taylor Swift – Trouble (Goats)

This is an oldie but a goodie. I just don’t know why screaming goats get me every time, but they do! I prefer this version to the original, don’t tell Taylor!

9. Can u get pregante…?

I honestly watch this every night before I go to sleep. No matter what happened during the day, this song will ensure that I go to sleep with a smile on my face. It is also just a very catchy song. Huge fan!

10. Schitt’s Creek bloopers

Obviously I love Schitt’s Creek. It’s my favourite comedy series and I am currently watching it from the beginning for a third time! This blooper reel makes me just want to be best friends with them all, especially Catherine O’Hara. Moira Rose is the best character in any comedy series ever, and I DEFY anybody to disagree with me.
