Roscommon GAA has said they have launched an investigation after an alleged assault at a Minor Championship clash on Wednesday evening.
The referee in question needed medical attention after officiating the minor championship clash after he was allegedly assaulted in the second half of the game.
And Roscommon has said they will investigate the matter after the game was abandoned and an ambulance called.

Roscommon GAA released a statement saying it condemns any behaviour that puts any match official at risk and wished the referee in question a speedy recovery.
The statement reads: "Roscommon GAA is aware of an incident involving a referee during an underage match in Ballyforan on Wednesday evening
"We would like to wish the referee involved in this incident a speedy recovery.
"Roscommon GAA strongly condemns any behaviour that puts any of our match officials at risk."
