Alan Hutton reckons the departure of Rory Wilson from Rangers to Aston Villa is a 'massive blow' as he made comparisons with the likes of Billy Gilmour and his move to Chelsea.
The Light Blues star has hooked up with former Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard at the English Premier League side with the move to Villa park confirmed earlier this week. He netted a stunning 49 goals for club and country last season and made the switch south of the border following the expiration of his deal with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side.
Billy Gilmour left Rangers for a move to Chelsea and has since went on to feature for the top team at Stamford Bridge while he has now established himself as a full Scotland international and a key member of Steve Clarke's side. Hutton believes Wilson's exit from Rangers is up there with the midfielder leaving describing the departure as 'annoying' but a decision that you can understand due to the lure of the EPL and working with Gerrard.
