Rory McIlroy will begin his final round at the US Open on Sunday one shot behind leaders Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark.
The Holywood man is targeting his first major victory since 2014 after a one-under-par round of 69 at the Los Angeles Country Club on Saturday, leaving him on nine-under overall.
Chasing his first major title, halfway leader Fowler looked set to maintain his overnight advantage until three-putting the 18th, the resulting level-par 70 leaving him on 10 under par.
