Rory McIlroy narrowly made the cut at the Wells Fargo Championship on Friday after a two-over par round of 73.
The Holywood man had just two birdies and four bogeys, finishing the day one-under par overall and just scraping through to the make the cut to the third round.
Englishman Tyrrell Hatton finished tied first after the second day in Charlotte, with the 31-year-old having a day out with the putter.
