Rory McIlroy has made a big change in his bag as he returns to golf action for the first time since the Masters.
The four-time major winner missed the cut in his bid to complete the career Grand Slam and has not played since.
McIlroy skipped the RBC Heritage a week later and came under scrutiny with the tournament a designated elevated PGA Tour event.
And the Northern Ireland golfer has made a change in his bag and is expected to putt with a Taylormade Spider putter this week at the Wells Fargo Championship.
The Holywood man briefly switched to using a Scotty Cameron but will go back to his trusty Spider.
McIlroy was ranked 16th in strokes gained in putting in 2022 and will be hoping to return to form this week at the Wells Fargo Championship.
The 33-year-old has won the event three times, winning in 2010, 2015 and 2021.
