Rory McIlroy has made his position clear as uncertainty continues to surround the future of LIV Golf: players who left the PGA Tour should not expect an easy route back.

Speaking ahead of the BMW Championship, McIlroy questioned whether LIV players who turned down an earlier opportunity to return should receive another favourable deal now that the breakaway circuit faces an uncertain future.
