Rory McIlroy following Tiger Woods’ lead as he changes approach to 2022 targets

Rory McIlroy is hopeful a change in approach when it comes to long-term goals will stand him in good stead as he targets a big 2022.

The 32-year-old has had a mixed 12 months, changing coaches for part of the year and winning the Wells Fargo Championship in May, but he then produced an incredibly disappointing display at the Ryder Cup that left him in tears afterwards.
