LAS VEGAS — Rookie goaltender Logan Thompson posted his second shutout and the Golden Knights defeated the Anaheim Ducks 4-0 Friday at T-Mobile Arena for their third straight win.
Left wing Reilly Smith and centers William Karlsson, Nicolas Roy and Chandler Stephenson scored for the Knights, who improved to 7-2. Smith’s goal was his 100th with the team. Only Karlsson and right wing Jonathan Marchessault have scored more with the Knights.
The Ducks fell to 1-6-1. They have the fewest points in the NHL and have won only four of their 25 meetings with the Knights.
